Purple Desert provides ongoing social science solutions and Co-Investigator support for a CSU research team. This work includes research design, IRB development, field research, data collection and analysis. Current projects include community-based research on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. CSU is a public land grant university located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Purple Desert provides international business development leadership and solutions for CRS on an ongoing basis. This includes proposal and concept development, positioning and strategy, writing, and support to various teams. Current work supports the Latin America region with large-scale grant proposals for public and private donors $5-$60 million in value. CRS is an international development agency that provides humanitarian assistance to people in over 100 countries.
Purple Desert facilitated a strategic planning process for CEI in 2021. The strategy was live in 2022. The Community Ecology Institute's mission is to cultivate communities where people and nature thrive together. Their work focuses on tangible, community-level change at the intersection of environment, education, equity, and health. CEI's initiatives have concentrated on four Cs: Connection to Nature, Civic Ecology, Community Health, and Climate Action.
